We started Tequity because we were tired of seeing promising AI ideas die in the gap between research and production. The world had enough model demos. What it needed was engineers who could ship.

2022

Ajay Kumar, Rahul Nair, and Balaji V, three product veterans, saw a gap in the market: startups needed a reliable partner who could take them from idea to product-market fit—not just build features. Drawing on their previous experience building their own product companies, they set out to be the reliable partner startups needed to go from idea to product-market fit.

2023

As Tequity grew, the team realized that to deliver truly excellent products, they needed world-class design and engineering capabilities under one roof. In 2023, Tequity merged with Beyond Design (founded by Ishiyetaa Sani) and WebSoham (founded by Deepak Bhagya), bringing together multidisciplinary expertise across product strategy, design, and engineering.

2024

By 2024, Tequity grew to over 100 people spanning Product Management, Design, Engineering, and QA—a unified team capable of building complete products under one roof.

2025

In 2025 we started Expanding into enterprise AI consulting while maintaining our builder-first DNA. Every engagement still starts with working code, not slide decks.
